My name is Adnan Hussein Hassan.
I am 25 years old and I am from the Al-Qamishli governorate in Syria.
I work as a chef.
We left our country due to all the troubles and the war.
My hobbies are singing and drawing on fruits.
I came to Greece to build a beautiful future and help my family.
I love helping and giving a hand to those who need it, especially children.
Because when I play with children, I remember my wife who is now deceased and my unborn daughter. They died in a traffic accident during the Kurdish celebration of Nawroz.
I am now a volunteer with Lighthouse Relief in Ritsona camp. It’s an organisation for children and young people.
I work in the children’s department.
We play with the children and teach them how to draw and how to interact with society, be that through talking, greeting each other or working together.
We, the volunteers, give the children the opportunity to have a childhood and we try to support them to enjoy the beauty of it.
All of us were deprived of our childhood, that is why our organisation is a peaceful organisation for children and young people.
The children are like smiling spring butterflies…
Their smiles represent hope and peace.
Their beautiful words sound like a breath of air.
In short, children are life and hope.
Let’s share our children’s happiness, as we are doing now, and give them a better life and future.

هاجرنا بلدنا بسبب المشاكل والحرب...
هوايتي الرسم على الفواكه والغناء...
أتيت إلى يونان من اجل تكوين مستقبل جميل ومساعدة اهلي ...
اعشق المساعدة وتقديم يد العون للناس المحتاجين وخاصتا الاطفال ....
لأنني عندما العب مع الأطفال وأرى ابتسامتهم أتذكر زوجتي وطفلتي الميتة التي لم تخلق بعد سبب الوفاة حادث سير بعيد النيروز الكوردي...
وانا الان متطوع بمنظمة لايت هاوس في كامب ريتسونا منظمة تعليمية للأطفال والشباب...
انا اعمل داخل قسم الأطفال....
نلاعبهم نعلمهم الرسم وكيفية التعامل داخل المجتمع سواء كأن الكلام او تبادل السلام او العمل الجماعي...
وكوننا متطوعين نعطي الأطفال حق الطفولة وندعهم يمرحون بطفولتهم الجميلة.....
فجميعنا كنا محرومين من حق طفولتنا لذلك منظمتنا منظمة سلام للاطفال والشباب ....
فالأطفال فراشات الربيع الضاحكة...
ابتسامتهم هي الأمل والسلام
كلامهم الجميل كصوت نسمات الهواء....
الأطفال باختصار هم الحياة والأمل....
دعونا نتشارك بسعادة أطفالنا كما نعمل الأن ونعطيهم حياة ومستقبل أجمل
