O glorious, marvelous, wonderful kite,
Thou soarest the heavens to unreachable height.
Thy splendor displayed in colors bright,
Filleth my soul with pure delight.
Thou makest thy path from earth to sky,
Yet so quickly thou reacheth ever so high.
From heaven to heaven thou soarest by,
Whether winter or summer, thou never art shy.
I longeth to live a life like thee,
To soar the heavens and be care free.
But boundeth I am to this dry earth,
Never to leave this land of my birth.
I maketh my peace with this grave deal,
But my heart, thou with joy doth heal.
Each time thou soarest above my head,
That night sweet dreams I findeth in bed!
