A Way Home Together Podcast
A Way Home Together uses the informal and intimate medium of podcasting to tell personal stories of people on the move, including migrants, refugees and those who have been deeply affected by different cultures. These are stories of the human journey.
In our first episodes, host Ahmed Badr (himself a refugee from Iraq), speaks to members of his own family (including his 14-year old sister) and interviews other young refugees and migrants.
We learn how their stories relate to profound trends in migration across the world.
Their voices, laughter and emotional honesty are examples of how A Way Home Together can help build a new narrative about migrants who share their hopes and dreams. Instead of hearing about them in a distant or abstract way, the audience gets up close and personal with people who in many ways are just like them.
