Life in Ritsona: Sagvan's Story
My name is Sagvan, and I am 26 years old. I am from the Kurdistan region of Iraq. My native tongue is Kurdish and I can also speak a little Arabic and English.
Sagvan enjoys a sunny Saturday in Chalkida.
My hobbies include swimming, going to the gym, and always smiling. I graduated from the "University of Smiling and Laughing."
I have been in Greece for one year. I live in Ritsona. I have been working in Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS) for eight months. I am very grateful for the coordinator, Constantina Strikou, who gave me an opportunity to help my community.
I also volunteer at the Child Friendly Space in Lighthouse Relief. It was my pleasure to work with them. I am very thankful to all their staff.
I attend English class at I AM YOU, and I am thankful to my teacher Katy Hughes.
Last but not least, I am very grateful for the rest of the organizations in camp, like Cafe Rits and IOM.
