 A love of Tennis

A love of Tennis

I started playing tennis at middle school at the age of eleven. In those days we didn't have a ground or field for playing big tennis, which is why I could only play table tennis. Every now and then we'd have a hard time finding rackets and used to play with wood and glass pieces that we found in our surroundings. I loved it because it is a game that requires speed and good reflexes and I played it for many years.

I started playing big tennis while I was at university at the age of twenty-two. I only played it once at that time. I didn't enjoy it very much because my opponent wasn't very good and therefore naturally I didn't play it again. I did not play again until I was forced to leave my country and go and stay in Ritsona refugee camp. With the help of Lighthouse Relief, I've been playing properly for five to six months and I love playing it very much.

I think it takes a lot to play tennis in a good way. Speed, attention, strength, confidence, concentration, belief, intelligence and the ability to think fast. I think the most important thing a person needs is speed. While in high school, I came first in a hundred-meter race competition that was held between the high schools in the city. I think I move very fast. If I had learned how to play at a young age, I would have had a high probability of being a world champion today because of my self-confidence.

This was not to be for me, but I will give all the support needed to teach it to my children and help them become professional tennis players.
