Cut by the Knife

Cut by the Knife

He who knows, has carved well,
He foresees, He sees swell.
He frames his sculpture,
No piece he fractures.
His beauty not noticed for i'll want from life,
People simply crave beauty, cut by the knife.
He who knows, makes the heart,
Makes everyone, uniquely apart,
He concentrates not on colour and skin,
He cares more about, heart and sin.
Yet some tend to think they need more from life,
They simply need outward beauty, cut by the knife.
He who is creator, is gifted with skill,
For who else could make something from Nil.
He does not judge based on our face,
For his beauty exists in the extend of his grace.
People are blind, they don't look beyond this life,
They need temporary beauty, cut by the knife.
And people who live to be cut by the knife,
Never find beauty, nor love in this life.
If beauty is only in what is begotten,
It will soon fade away, very well forgotten.
Forgiveness, Love, Grace and Mercy, eternal beauty for life,
All these given freely by Christ, no need to be cut by the knife.
