Blank Pages
Born a pen with blank pages
Scribble beyond scribble
Things written and drawn never changes
Knowing that there are blank pages ahead
For some, a reminder anything is possible
Pens that try to rewrite are misled
This goes for pens of all ages
Previous pages cannot be changed with scribbles
this only damages the imagination;
Those pens live in a world of pretend
Their grasp of reality starts to shrivel
Things they may regret on their deathbed
Flip the pages over towards new stages
Even though hope is the size of a thimble
Turning pages, like breaking through cages
Write a draw with color instead
let those pages act as a symbol
Of prosperity; that should embed
To pens all over, color is contagious
Knowing hope grows little by little
When ink fades, coming to its end
Aware, it reflects on its stages
Even though some chapters weren't all giggles
It gives the pen distinctives throughout its pages
So that others may see a life well read
