Those Eyes Saw
Slaughterers marched into the alley
And a sudden sigh caught his sleep Sharp cry and running steps
All he could hear through those ears
He went till the window
Rest all those eyes saw
A bloody holocaust of infants
And the foots of giant slayers
For a moment tears blurred the scene
He grasped his breath to see the rest
Cry of a child of fear
Scream of a mother for her son
Everything was covered with blood near, watching the devastation the town went
Fear empowered his little heart
and an arrow pierces the boys head
His mortal remain rests in my arms
And a moaning silence spreads all along
